Taylorsville Police Arrest Man On Felony Weapons Charges

36-year old William Paul Sherrill was arrested Thursday evening by Taylorsville Police and charged with multiple counts of possession of a firearm by a felon. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $25,000. Sherrill is scheduled to appear in court on Monday in Taylorsville.

Update: Sherrill has also been charged with probation violation and is now being held without bond.
