Man Resists Taylorsville Police During Arrest

Taylorsville Police arrested 22-year old Joseph Larry Brown of Taylorsville on Sunday morning. Charges include carrying a concealed gun, driving while impaired, driving while license revoked, injury to personal property, resisting a public officer, and malicious conduct by a prisoner. Brown allegedly spat on an officer as he was taken into custody, Brown was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center and later released with a secured bond of $26,500.

A court date of November 30th is scheduled.
