Taylorsville Man Jailed With Bond Over $500,000

A Taylorsville man is in custody after being arrested on Tuesday for a lengthy assortment of failure to appear counts.

37-year old Jeremy Michael Palmer was taken into custody in Iredell County by Probation and Parole Officers. The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and Taylorsville Police had warrants to arrest him as well.

Palmer has a list of failure to appear counts that include felony probation violation, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place for controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a felon, driving while impaired and a number of other traffic related counts.

Palmer is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a combined bond of $565,000. A Monday, September 18th court date is listed.
