Taylorsville Man Gets 48 Hour Jail Term For Contempt Of Court

A Taylorsville man was sent to jail during a court appearance on Tuesday.

43-year old James Michael Rogel was ordered to serve 48 hours in the Alexander County Detention Center after being cited for contempt of court by a District Court Judge.

Rogel has a number of previous charges pending including driving with license revoked and violations of school attendance law. Court dates are scheduled for November 7, 21 and December 5th.
