David Wayne Mecimore, age 40 of Taylorsville, was taken into custody on Friday, August 18th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and served a warrant for failure to appear on multiple traffic related offenses. Among the charges is driving with license revoked. Mecimore has similar charges pending in Iredell and Davie County as well. He’s being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $33,000. His next Alexander County District Court date is September 5th.
