Ryan Scott Whitson, age 37 of Taylorsville, is facing a charge of identity theft. He was taken into custody on Thursday and was also served arrest warrants for multiple counts of failure to appear. Whitson is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $5,500.
