Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Taylorsville man on Thursday, March 10th and served him with a warrant from Catawba County. 37-year old Ryan Scott Whitson was wanted on charges of felony fraud/obtaining property by false pretense and identity theft. Whitson was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a bond of $5,000. He was scheduled to make a Catawba County District Court appearance on Monday.
