Taylorsville Man Arrested On Assault Charge And Felony Weapons Offenses

48-year old Sean Arthur Smail of Taylorsville was arrested Tuesday by Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies.

He’s charged with felony possession of a firearm with and altered serial number, possession of a firearm by a felon and assault on a female. Smail is being held in the Alexander County Jail without bond on the assault charge and $50,000 on the weapons offenses. A November 21st court date is scheduled in Alexander County District Court.
