Taylorsville Couple Facing Child Abuse Charge

An Alexander County couple has been charged with child abuse following an investigation by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Social Services.

Taylorsville residents 20-year old Alaina Ainslee Pearce and 19-year old Luke Everett Howell were taken into custody on Sunday and charged with child abuse. They were both placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under $10,000 secured bonds each.
