Stony Point Man Being Held In Jail

Jason Anthony Riddle, age 38 of Stony Point, was placed in custody early Saturday morning and charged with felony possession of schedule of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of stolen goods, and failure to appear for simple assault and injury to personal property.

A secured bond is set at $11,000 and as of this morning, Riddle remained in the Alexander County Detention Center.

Riddle also has a number of pending charges in Catawba County that include felony possession of methamphetamine and felony possession of controlled substance on jail property, along with various other offenses.
