A Statesville man is facing a felony drug-related charge in Alexander County. 20-year-old Donald Charles Lawson Jr was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Friday evening and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, the suspect was served a failure to appear warrant from Iredell County for possession of marijuana. Lawson is being held in the Alexander County Jail with a bond listed at $15,000.
