A Statesville couple are facing charges following an investigation that lasted for several months according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives reviewed reports of breaking and entering to several storage units at a business located on Buffalo Shoals Road, Statesville. Numerous items of property had been reported stolen stemming from these incidents.
Two employees of the business were identified as suspects and arrested on July 14th.
53-year old Thomas Edward Mounts was charged with: Five Counts of Felony Breaking and Entering, Five Counts of Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Two Counts of Felony Larceny of a Firearm, Felony Larceny by Employee, Felony Larceny, Misdemeanor Larceny, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture Sell Deliver Methamphetamine, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for the purpose of Sell and Delivering Methamphetamine. He was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center with a secured bond of $100,000. 41-year old Stephanie Elaine Mounts was charged with: Five Counts of Felony Breaking and Entering, Five Counts of Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny by Employee, Felony Larceny of a Firearm, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture Sell Deliver Methamphetamine, Felony Maintain a Dwelling for the Purpose of Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine.
