Silver Alert Issued For Stateseville Woman…Updated

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered woman, 74-year-old Barbara Houser Bellamy. Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for this missing woman, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

She’s described as a black female, 5’5″, 165 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen at 181 Miller Farm Road in Statesville wearing a light colored night gown. Her vehicle is described as a gray Lexus RX300 with a North Carolina license tag reading REH1611.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Barbara Houser Bellamy should call Deputy Ball at the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3100.

Update: The subject of the Silver Alert has been found deceased.
