Vada Sherrill
Sherrill will occupy the newly created position of Assistant Athletic Director of Internal Operations.
In her new position, the Alexander County native and Alexander Central alum, will be responsible for gameday operations, scheduling and planning of future upgrades of Pfeiffer athletics facilities, competition contracts and other special projects and events surrounding Falcon Athletics. Additionally, she will be heavily involved with the Falcon Club and with the social media and web presence of Pfeiffer athletics.
Since graduating from Pfeiffer in 2019, Sherrill has served alongside her father and Pfeiffer Sports Hall of Fame member Monte Sherrill as an assistant coach for the softball program.
While serving as an assistant coach, she helped lead Pfeiffer to the 2023 USA South Championship and a berth in the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament as well as the 2022 USA South East Division title.
As a player, Sherrill set every major offensive statistical record and was named to several All-America Teams over her four years while competing in The Village. To date, she is still the only player across all three NCAA Divisions to have 200 hits, 200 stolen bases, and 200 runs scored over her career.
