A Special Called Meeting of the Alexander County Board of Education is scheduled for Tuesday, February 19, 2019, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Board of Education Office, 700 Liledoun Road, Taylorsville, NC.
The purpose of the meeting is to interview candidates for the vacant board seat for District 4 (Sharpes, Millers, Sugar Loaf, and Gwaltney Townships). The appointed person will serve until the next election of board members (November 2020), at which time the remaining unexpired term of the office (2020-2022) shall be filled by election.
