Word of the Day: rutabaga [roo-tuh-bey-guh] a root vegetable from the cabbage family with sweet tasting yellow flesh. A cool to cold weather plant that’s high in good source of complex carbohydrates for soups, stew, and casseroles. They have edible greens as well. Often confused with turnips which are less sweet and can grow in any climate.
