Rape Charge Filed Against Statesville Man

A Statesville has been charged with second-degree rape.

20-year old Koby Lee Tilley was charged by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office with second-degree forcible rape.

The investigation began in January after a female filed a report saying the rape took place on January 9th and identifying Tilley as the suspect.

Tilley has been placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under a secured bond of $100,000.
