Alexander Central was defeated 8-2 by Jamestown Ragsdale in a Round I State 4A Baseball Playoff Game on Tuesday in Taylorsville.
The Cougars led 2-0 after two innings and led 2-1 going to the sixth. The visitors scored twice in the sixth inning and put the game away with 5 in the seventh.
