Pedestrian Struck And Killed In Hickory

According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was struck and killed this morning on Interstate 40 in Hickory. The incident reportedly occurred shortly before 7 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near the McDonald Parkway exit 126. More information will be released later.
