Melissa states, “I’m honored and excited to serve as the new School Nutrition Director for Alexander County Schools! After eight years with the Alexander County School Nutrition team and fifteen years in food service, I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the students, staff, and community I call home.
As a lifelong Alexander County resident, ACHS graduate, and parent of two Alexander County students, I understand how important nutritious, high-quality school meals are to student success. I look forward to building on the strong foundation of our School Nutrition program and serving our students with pride, dedication, and a commitment to excellence.”
