A man is dead and another is wounded following an incident on Sunday in Wilkes County.
The Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that a man was found on the lawn of a residence on Boone Trail in Millers Creek. Another man had suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, his condition is unknown.
No other information has yet been released.
