Newton Police arrested 47-year old Jose Manuel Flores of Hickory on Thursday. He’s charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, flee to elude arrest and injury to personal property. Flores is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $10,500. A Friday first appearance is scheduled in Catawba County District Court.
