Hickory Police arrested 23-year old Javario Quansell Prunty of Newton Saturday morning on a series of offenses. He is charged with felony possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, injury to personal property, resisting a public officer, and a failure to appear warrant on a charge of assault on a female. Prunty is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $18,5000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
