Drew Glen Gajnos, age 55 of Newton, was arrested Sunday after he attempted to elude law enforcement. He was charged by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office with flee/elude arrest with motor vehicle, reckless driving with wanton disregard, driving with license revoked and driving while impaired. The suspect is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $2,000. Gajnos is scheduled to make a court appearance on Thursday, December 30th.
