In an effort to reduce congestion on HWY 127, West Alexander Middle School will have a new traffic pattern starting Thursday morning.
The morning traffic pattern is as follows: Cars will drive down Bulldog Lane past the school entrance, towards the bus lot. There will be a lane marked with cones that prompts cars to turn around in the bus lot and proceed back onto Bulldog Lane. Cars will follow Bulldog Lane until turning right into the parking lot at the front of the school. There will only be one lane of traffic in the drop off line. This is to keep all students and staff safe as they get out of the cars in the morning.
The afternoon traffic pattern is as follows: Cars will drive down Bulldog Lane past the school entrance, towards the bus lot. The car line should proceed to the end of the bus lot, turn around, and head back towards Bulldog Lane. Cars will follow Bulldog Lane until turning right into the parking lot at the front of the school. There will only be one lane of traffic in the pick up line. This is to keep all students and staff safe as they get out of their cars.
