Morganton Woman Busted For Drug Trafficking In Caldwell County

Narcotic Agents with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office and Lenoir Police Department have made an arrest of a suspected methamphetamine trafficker.

Jesse Leighann Schwartz, age 30, of Morganton, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of Trafficking in methamphetamine and maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances. She was placed in the Caldwell Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond.

During the arrest, Narcotics Agents located and seized approximately 214 grams of Methamphetamine, a 9mm handgun and over $5,700 in cash.

Approximately 300 grams of an unknown pill type was also located. The pills will be analyzed by the State Crime Laboratory to be identified.
