Gary Wilburn Sweet
66-year old Gary Wilburn Sweet was taken into custody by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Monday and served warrants for failure to appear in court on charges of assault on a government officer and two counts of resisting a public officer. He has been since released under a secured bond of $2,500 with a new court date scheduled for September 25th.
Sweet has a Superior Court appearance scheduled on a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon set for September 18th.
