Statesville Police are investigating after a man was shot in the parking lot of a convenience store overnight.
Statesville Police Officers were called to a location on East Broad Street. They found a female who had been assaulted and a male subject who had been shot several times. The shooting victim was taken to a hospital, no information on his condition is available.
A suspect has been developed but police have not said if an arrest has been made.
