Man Nabbed For Probation Violation

Marcus Gunnar McDowell, age 26 of Conover was arrested Wednesday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office on two counts of felony probation violation. McDowell, a former Alexander County resident was placed in the Catawba County Detention under a secured bond of $25,000. He will make a court appearance today in Newton.
