The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Wilkes County man following an assault that was reported on Thursday, December 10th. 44-year old Jason Lee Bullis of Boomer has been charged with felony assault/inflicting serious bodily injury. The male victim suffered multiple injuries. Bullis was arrested on Wednesday, December 16th and placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $20,000. The investigation is ongoing with additional charges possible.
