Man Jailed In Alexander County After Extradition From Tennessee

A man is being held in Alexander County custody after being extradited from the state of Tennessee.

34-year-old Anthony Scott Stout has charges pending from 2017 in Alexander County for felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering. Stout has an October 6th court date scheduled in Taylorsville. A series of charges also from 2017, are also pending in Watauga and Wilkes Counties.

According to previous report, on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, Detectives from the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office traveled to Carter County Tennessee, in reference to recovered stolen property from break-ins in Alexander County.
Alexander County Detectives had been working in conjunction with Tennessee Authorities in an effort to locate Stout. He allegedly stole a vehicle in Watauga County before crashing in Carter County, Tennessee.
