49-year old Gregory Olen Ayers is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center. He was taken into custody on Saturday, April 16th and charged with assault on a female, violation of a domestic violence protection order and resisting arrest. A court date is scheduled for May 23rd in Taylorsville.
