54-year old Jimmy Dean Roten of Millers Creek was taken into custody on Monday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. Roten was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. As of this morning, Roten remained in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $15,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, October 12th.
