David Glen Roberts, age 31 of Claremont was arrested Tuesday by Newton Police. He’s charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to manufacture/ sell/and deliver heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana . Roberts was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $25,000 bond. He is scheduled make a court appearance today.
