Alexander Central’s Maddox Jack no-hit Freedom in Morganton Monday night. Jack’s gem follows teammate Caleb Williams’ no-hitter last Friday against Hibriten.
Jack allowed no hits, no walks, and struck out 10 of the 16 batters he faced. He also had two hits. JD Little homered. Dusty Sigmon and Grove Lowrance both went 2-3.
The Cougars are 13-1 and lead the Northwestern Conference at 4-1.
