A Lenoir man is back in Alexander County custody. 69-year-old Dexter James Auton ws served an arrest warrant overnight by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He failed to appear on a charge filed in February for carry a concealed weapon and reisting arrest. During the arrest process last night, the suspect was charged again with resisting arrest. Auton remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a bond listed for $22,500.
