Lenoir Man Arrested For Firing Weapon Into Occupied Property

46-year-old John Andrew Alexander of Wilkesboro Boulevard in Lenoir was arrested Thursday by Lenoir Police Officers. He was charged with three felonies: possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and two counts discharging a firearm into occupied property. In addition, Alexander was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female and misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun.

He remains in jail as of this morning at the Caldwell County Detention Facility under $30,000 secured bond. District Court appearances were scheduled for today (October 13) and November 8.
