Kevin Thomas Tolbert
Officers from both agencies responded to a Taylorsville business after a report of shoplifting. Tolbert was taken into custody after an altercation with law enforcement. He’s charged with larceny- shoplifting/concealment of goods, possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of resisting arrest.
Tolbert was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.
A Taylorsville court appearance is scheduled for December 18th.
Previous charges against Tolbert are pending in Caldwell County for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to inflict serious injury, assault, communicating threats, felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering and felony possession of stolen goods.
