28-year old Taya Alequa McCathern of Raleigh was arrested Tuesday by Catawba County Sheriff’s Deputies. McCathern is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and second-degree kidnapping and is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $100,000. A June 28th court appearance is scheduled in Newton.
