Iredell County Deputies Arrest Virginia Couple

On Tuesday, February 13, Iredell County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1400 Block of West Memorial Highway in reference to a suspicious vehicle.

Officers quickly located the suspect vehicle and were able to conduct a search. They found 7.58 grams of Heroin, Buprenorphine dosage units, and several items of drug paraphernalia.

Machallie Reann Meade, age 23 of St Paul, Virginia, was charged with Felony Trafficking Opium or Heroin by Transport, Felony Trafficking Opium or Heron by Possession, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Simple Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She is being held in the Iredell County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond.

Patrick Jack Martin, age 26 of St Pond, Virginia was served an outstanding Order for Arrest from Virginia. He was also detained under a secure bond of $1,500.
