Iredell County Assistant Principal Charged With Child-Sex Crime

An Irdell County assistant principal has been arrested and charged with a sex crime against a minor.

Shaun Michael Bock, age 28 of Mooresville, was charged by Mooresville Police with one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Bock has been an assistant principal at Coddle Creek Elementary School since July 2020.

According to Iredell Statesville Schools, the victim was not a student at the school where Bock was an assistant principal. Bock has been suspended pending the investigation by Mooresville Police and the school system.
