Hudson Man Sentenced In Meth Trafficking Case

On Tuesday, July 7th, Benny Dale Laney Sr. was sentenced to serve 70-93 months in the NC Department of Adult Corrections for Trafficking Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

In April of 2025, Laney age 57 of Hudson, was involved in an incident in Lenoir where he was found by Caldwell County Deputies to be in possession of approximately 33 grams methamphetamine and a .38 caliber pistol.
