Hiddentite Man Facing Meth Charge

A Hiddenite man is facing drug charges in Catawba county. 26 year old James Michael Runyon was arrested Saturday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $3,500. He is scheduled to make a court appearance today in Newton.
