The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a decomposed body was discovered in a wooded area along the 800 block of Turnersburg Highway north of Statesville.
First responders from Ebenezer Fire Department, Iredell County Rescue, and Iredell County EMS were dispatched to the scene shortly before 6:30 pm on Friday.
No other information has been released.
