Hiddenite Woman Facing Long List Of Charges

Jessica Leeann Hampton, age 32 of Hiddenite, was arrested on Sunday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with simple assault. She is no longer listed as an inmate in County Detention Center. Hampton’s court date is November 6th.

Hampton is awaiting trial in Wilkes County on charges that include felony trafficking in cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance, multiple counts of felony exploitation of disable/elderly trust, felony breaking and entering, felony safecracking, felony probation violation and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. She was scheduled to appear in Wilkes County Superior Court on Monday.
