Hiddenite Man Returned To Custody Following Latest Arrest

33-year-old Thomas Lee Sherrill, Charlie Lackey RD., Hiddenite, was apprehended by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, June 17th. He is facing a charge of felony obtaining property by false pretense. Sherrill was initially held without bond prior to a judge setting his bond amount for $30,000, citing his previous pending charges and declaring him a threat to the community. As of this report, Sherrill remains in custody.

As previously reported, Sherrill was arrested on May 31st and charged with with felony aid and abet larceny and resisting arrest.
