Hiddenite Man Jailed Without Bond

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 40-year old Randy Mitchell Beard of Hiddenite Thursday morning after a reported domestic disturbance.

Beard was taken into custody following a brief foot-chase and charged with assault on a female, assault by strangulation, and resisting arrest. Beard is being held without bond pending an initial court appearance on Monday, January 25th in Alexander County District Court.
