Hiddenite Man Dead As The Result Of Weekend Stabbing In Catawba County

An Alexander County man was stabbed to death over the weekend in Hickory.

51-year-old Kenneth Swint of Hiddenite was found suffering multiple stab wounds at a location on Daniel Street in the St Stephens area of Hickory around 1pm on Saturday.

As previously reported, 43-year old Kenny Raymond Walker of Conover was charged with murder by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. Walker was located at near the location where Swint’s body was found.

Walker is being held without bond in the Catawba County Jail
