Roger Thomas Hamby, age 34 of Hiddenite, was arrested Friday by Deputies with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture,sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, and identity theft. Hamby was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday in Newton.
