The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and Taylorsville Police Department responded Sunday evening to the report of a victim being pistol-whipped at a location off Hammer Road. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
Officers searched multiple locations for hours before 21-year old Dillion Rodriguez Servin was taken into custody. He’s charged with assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault, damage to personal property, probation violation and resisting arrest. Servin is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $40.000.
Srvin has a 2022 conviction for possession of stolen goods in Alexander County. He was given a 12 month suspended sentence according to North Carolina Department of Adult Correction.
